The room was surprisingly spacious for a shared bathroom setup, providing ample room for movement. The staff were friendly and accommodating, promptly addressing my concerns.
The overall cleanliness left much to be desired.

Consider asking for an even-numbered room, as they generally provide a quieter environment away from the main road.

Friendly vibe, but not great
The reception staff were really nice and welcoming! The carpark was a mess tho, full of rubbish and broken bottles. My room was super tiny, needed some TLC, and sharing bathrooms just made it weird. Only one towel? C'mon! At least they had picnic tables outside for some fresh air.

the only good thing was the cheap price, we paid just £24 for a room. also, there was free parking and the staff were at the front desk 24/7. the shower was nice and hot, and they gave us clean towels. if u just need a place to crash, it could work for a night.

Affordable stay with decent amenities
For the price of £28 a night, I was pleasantly surprised by the clean communal showers and the decent-sized TV in the room. The location was also a plus, as it’s not far from the stunning High Force Waterfall, which made my trip memorable. I believe the overall facilities could use an upgrade for a more comfortable experience.

missingWrote a review on 29 Julbudget accommodationcommunal showerslarge tvthin walls
At a price point around £28, the accommodation fits a tight budget while being clean enough for a quick stay. The communal showers are decent, providing a good water pressure, and the presence of a larger TV in the room offers a bit of comfort.
Finding this place is a challenge, buried in an industrial area that raises questions about safety and comfort. Inside, the ambiance is questionable at best, with thin walls allowing noise from neighbors, including barking dogs at ungodly hours. The communal bathroom setup might not appeal to every traveler, as personal privacy takes a backseat here. The carpets show wear and tear, and there's a general sense that upgrades are well overdue.

Cheap but needs a clean
The place is super cheap—only £24! They’ve got nice heaters that warm up quick, which is a plus. Was stoked to see picnic tables outside, perfect for chilling. But honestly, the room was dirty and just gross. Had to bail in under 10 mins. I get that it’s budget but clean should be a must.

Not ideal for families but ok for groups
Had a decent shower that actually worked and was pretty clean. Plus, the bunk beds were spacious enough for a good night’s sleep after a long day.
It was not inexpensive, but given the situation, I guess you can accept it.

I had a solid experience here with a comfy bed and a decent 40-inch TV that was surprisingly nice for the price. There’s a shared lounge for relaxation and free tea and coffee available which was a nice touch. Just a heads up though, the shared bathrooms could use a little more attention, but it didn’t ruin my stay! 😊

Decent size TV in the room with a deposit for the remote, which was a nice touch for such basic accommodations. Showers had a strong jet, providing a surprisingly good experience despite the overall simplicity.
Finding the hotel posed a challenge, being somewhat hidden away in an industrial area. The reception area threw me off. It felt more like a warehouse than a cute spot. The communal facilities had a bit of a wait during peak times, which could be inconvenient, especially in the morning rush with shared toilets and showers. The vibe was basic, and while offering value for the price, it's strictly a crash pad experience with very little ambiance.
